In
the near future
our goal is to raise enough funds to turn
the Playhouse into the Capistrano Centre for
the Performing Arts.
It will take a good deal of hard work and
dedication on the part of our staff, board,
committees and volunteers. It will also take
public grants and corporate sponsorships. If
you are interested in helping keep quality
community theatre in San Juan Capistrano be
generous in your contributions to the
Playhouse. Every dollar makes a difference.

Why
We Need Your Help
The City of San Juan Capistrano has renewed
our lease on the Camino Real Playhouse
building for another year although we await
their decision regarding the future
disposition of the playhouse building in
connection with the City's plans for a
beautiful new city hall. They may use the
land as the site of the new city hall or
sell the property to build it on another
piece of property in the next 2 to 3 years.
In any case ... the Playhouse has formed a
Relocation Committee of interested civic
leaders dedicated to helping us do some
serious fund raising for our move to a new
facility. We are counting on all those that
have been a part of our success over the
last 13+ years.
What Can I Do to
Help?
Individual donations and grants are critical
to relocating our Playhouse. Our dream has
been to create an even more encompassing
Center for Performing Arts here in San Juan
Capistrano. If you have the financial
resources to help us ... thank you. If you
can donate something of value to the
Playhouse to help us on our journey to
becoming the Capistrano Center for the
Performing Arts ... thank you also. If you
just have time on your hands and the desire
to make a difference ... call us.
How Advertisers and
Sponsors help us achieve our dream?
When advertisers buy space in our programs
and corporations sponsor entire
performances
to help defray ongoing production costs ...
we are able to use funds from ticket sales
and concessions for much needed technology
enhancements such getting a replacement
lighting control board for our Main Stage
theater or to put more money into
advertising for the success of future
productions.
